In prophetic obedience to God's call, we model partnership and equality for
women and men in a community of equals in the Catholic Church.
Celtic Prayers for holy delighting on feast of St. Brigit of Kildare
Feb. 2, 2013 Liturgy with Co-Presiders: Bridget Mary Meehan and Phil Garrison
On Feb. 1st we celebrated the Feast day of St. Brigit of Kildare whose inclusive spirit reminds us that we all belong at the Banquet of Love, the heavenly feast. A table blessing of St. Brigit gives us a glimpse into the heart of Celtic spirituality:
“I should welcome the poor to my feast for they are God’s children. I should welcome the sick to my feast for they are God’s joy. Let the poor sit with Jesus at the highest place, let the sick dance with the angels.”
Welcome to Mary Mother of Jesus,
an inclusive Catholic community where
all are welcome at the Eucharistic Table.
Our mission is to live Christ's love and compassion as we bring new life, creativity, equality and justice to our church and beyond.
If you are a Catholic who no longer feels at home
in the church, we invite you to join a community of companions on the journey to a renewed,
vibrant faith in the Catholic tradition.
Join us for liturgy on Saturdays, 4-5 PM
